Mentza Belong

Help people feel the organisation. And find their place in it.

Induction helps newcomers learn about a company. Mentza Belong helps them build an understanding of it from within.

Through immersive stories, personal conversations and meaningful human connections, employees explore how the organisation thinks, what shapes its choices and where their contribution matters. They build mental models of its culture, reconcile expectations with reality, and practise the judgement their roles will require.

Conversational AI × Behavioural Intelligence makes this journey personal, relevant and paced, building emotional connection and readiness to contribute and grow.

“I work here” grows into “I have a place here.”

Built on two decades of behaviour change design. Mentza’s founders bring experience addressing complex challenges across public health, road safety and financial behaviour. They previously co-founded Final Mile Consulting, acquired by Fractal Analytics in 2017.

The plan

The journey to belonging

About 150 minutes of AI-led conversation over 16 days, then Ask HR ongoing, each paired with a human encounter. Days 60 and 90 add short check-ins to see that it has become practice.

Day 1
My story
A proud moment or a hard choice. The AI offers a reading; the newcomer confirms or corrects it. Meets the manager and an ambassador.

Day 2
Our story
The founding problem, the turning points and where the organisation is heading, with each choice paused. A leadership recording and a chance to ask questions.

Day 3
Values and culture

People connect
Meeting people is not about work. It is how an organisation builds its social capital. The newcomer meets a few people across the organisation, then comes back and tells us who they met, what kind of person they felt they were, and why.

Days 14 to 15
Awareness programme
An interactive walk through the policies and practicalities every employee needs to know: leave, benefits, conduct, safety, how to raise a concern, and the compliance requirements that keep their own deadlines. The AI pauses to ask the newcomer to explain or apply what they have just seen.

Day 16
Let's get your passport
The endline conversation is a passport-building exercise. The AI talks with the newcomer to understand who they are, what drives them and where they align: where they would like to contribute, which part of the organisation's story inspires them, which value felt most like them. The product page comes from the product simulator.

Ask HR
A standing place to talk or type to the AI about any policy or programme. It answers from the approved HR documents and shows its source. If a question is not covered, or is personal, it routes it to a named person in HR.

Keep it moving

Completion, step by step

Every step completed is a step closer to the passport. It is a small, slightly playful incentive: finish the journey and the passport is yours to keep. The newcomer sees which steps are done and what comes next, and the cohort sees how it is moving together.

People connect

Building the social capital

This is not about work. The newcomer is nudged to meet a few people across the organisation, over coffee, a walk or a meal. Afterwards they come back and tell us who they met, what kind of person they felt they were, and why. Over time those answers show who holds the organisation together. Click a person.
